Placing an order
Items are selected from the catalogue and confirmed at checkout with delivery details. Research materials are supplied on the basis that the buyer is ordering them for laboratory research, and that confirmation forms part of the order.
Payment
Payment is taken before dispatch. Available methods are shown at checkout; where a method requires a confirmation step, that step is described on screen at the time rather than left to be discovered afterwards.
Dispatch and what arrives
Orders are packed for the expected transit window and dispatched once payment is confirmed. Each parcel contains the sealed vials and their outer boxes, each carrying its batch number and printed RVL verification code.
On arrival, material should be moved to its documented storage condition promptly, and the printed code can be checked against production records before the packaging is opened.
If something is wrong
Damaged, incorrect or undocumented material should be raised before it is opened where possible, with the batch number to hand. A sealed box that can still be verified and inspected is far easier to resolve than one that has been opened.
